Lucknow Management Association in collaboration with Department of Economics and the Population Research Centre, University of Lucknow, organized a special lecture on "India @2047 -Experiences and Idea" by Padam Shri Dr. Nirupam Bajpai Senior Advisor for Sustainable Development, Columbia University on 17 April 2025.Padam shri Dr. Bajpai has also held distinguished positions at MIT and Harvard University, and has played a pivotal role in shaping Indias policy framework through his work with various Indian governments. Prof.Arvind Mohan welcomed and introduced the speaker and Mr. A.K. Mathur Sr. Vice President LMA proposed a vote of thanks.
AIMA’s 10th National Leadership Conclave was held on 15th April, 2025 at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. Mr. Pravin Kumar Dwivedi Vice President LMA and Mr. V.S. Tomer a member LMA were present at the event.
Lucknow Management Association organized MDP on "AI In Retailing" for MBA & BBA students of Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology on 11 April 2025. The 03 hour session was conducted by Col (Dr) Sameer Misra. Ms Sweta Mishra Addl. Director, Faculties and 140 students of Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology attended the MDP.
On 11th April 2025, Lucknow Management Association members had an opportunity to attend a highly informative and engaging awareness session on Parkinson’s disease at Medanta Hospital. The session was led by renowned experts: Dr. Rakesh Kapoor, Medical Director & Director of Urology and Kidney Transplant Surgery, Dr. A.K. Thacker, Director of Neurology Dr. Thacker provided valuable insights into the nature of Parkinson’s disease, describing it as a progressive neurological disorder caused primarily by a deficiency of dopamine in the brain. Symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, and balance issues were explained, along with current medical approaches that help manage—but not cure—the condition.
The final session of the training series took place on 9th April 2025 which was held virtually through Google Meet Platform. The session focused on Careers in Finance, wrapping up the highly successful program conducted by the Lucknow Management Association in collaboration with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College. The session was led by CA Sanam Rajneesh, who provided students with a roadmap for building successful careers in the finance domain. The discussion included a variety of professional pathways such as chartered accountancy, cost accountancy, company secretary, financial analysis, auditing, investment banking, and financial technology (fintech). CA Sanam also gave tips on how to prepare for competitive exams, enhance resumes, and improve communication skills for interviews. The session ended with motivational advice and a Q&A segment, where students enthusiastically inquired about career decisions. It was a highly engaging and inspiring session that provided clarity and direction to many aspiring finance professionals.
On 8th April 2025, the training program held offline at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College delved into the modern topic of Use of AI in Accounting, continuing under the efforts of the Lucknow Management Association. Led successfully by CA Sanam Rajneesh, this forward-looking session provided students with insights into how artificial intelligence is transforming the accounting profession. CA Sanam began by explaining the basic principles of AI and its applications in areas like automation of routine tasks, fraud detection, predictive analytics, and financial forecasting. The session included case studies on how multinational companies are integrating AI into their accounting systems for improved efficiency and accuracy. Students were encouraged to think critically about the ethical implications and data privacy issues that come with AI integration. The session inspired learners to embrace technology and stay updated with future trends that are reshaping the finance industry.
On April 08, 2025, Mr. William O’Connor, Deputy Counselor for Education & Cultural Affairs, Public Diplomacy, and Ms. Suparna Mukherji, Advisor - Public Diplomacy Section, U.S. Embassy India, met with the Core Group of the Lucknow Management Association (LMA) at the LMA office in Gomti Nagar for an extensive discussion on the business and commerce landscape in Lucknow. The meeting aimed to explore potential collaboration opportunities between the U.S. Embassy and LMA. The visit, Mr. O’Connor said, was part of the Embassy’s outreach efforts to engage with Tier 2 cities across India, beyond the major metro cities, to foster collaborations and partnerships
A workshop on “How to Make a Business Plan” organized on 07th April 2025 by the Young Managers Forum (YMF) of Lucknow Management Association in collaboration with Avadh Girls Degree College, Lucknow and Imarticus Learning Pvt. Ltd. Lucknow. The session was conducted by CA Devesh Agarwal, Chartered Accountant. He guided students on developing a structured and impactful business plan, focusing on identifying real-world challenges and formulating effective solutions. Key elements discussed included key partners, key activities, key resources, cost structure, value proposition, customer relationships, distribution channels, and target customer segments. The session encouraged students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and provided them with practical tools to build and present innovative business models.
The session held on 7th April 2025 was centered around Computerized Accounting, continuing the well-structured training program organized by the Lucknow Management Association, in association with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College. The session was conducted virtually through Google Meet Platform by CA Sanam Rajneesh, who introduced students to the latest tools and software used in the field of accounting. The session highlighted the growing importance of digital transformation in accounting and the need for professionals to adapt to computer-based systems. Students were introduced to accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books. Through live demonstrations, CA Sanam explained how transactions are entered, reports are generated, and data is analyzed using these tools. The session also covered the advantages of computerized accounting over manual systems, including speed, accuracy, and data security. Students found the session highly practical and relevant to the evolving demands of the industry.
On 5th April 2025, the training session held virtually on Google Meet Platform focused on Accounting, continuing the impactful series organized by the Lucknow Management Association, in partnership with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College. CA Sanam Rajneesh, an experienced Chartered Accountant, led the session and provided a strong overview of basic and advanced accounting principles. The facilitator began with the fundamentals of the double-entry system and journal entries, gradually moving towards the preparation of ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements. Through real-world examples and practical exercises, students were taught how to maintain accurate and transparent financial records. The training emphasized the importance of accuracy, consistency, and ethical practices in accounting. By the end of the session, students gained a clear understanding of how to record financial transactions and analyze them to assess a business’s financial health. This session proved to be especially beneficial for students aspiring to pursue careers in accounting and auditing.
The session held on 4th April 2025 focused specifically on the concept of Input Tax Credit (ITC) in GST and was part of the ongoing training initiative by the Lucknow Management Association, in association with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College. The session was conducted virtually on Google Meet platform by CA Sanam Rajneesh, who offered detailed insights into one of the most critical components of GST compliance. The training aimed to help students understand how ITC helps businesses reduce their tax liability by claiming credit for the tax paid on inputs. CA Sanam covered eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, the reconciliation process, and common errors that taxpayers must avoid while claiming ITC. He also provided practical examples and shared case studies where incorrect claims had led to penalties. By the end of the session, participants had a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively manage ITC within the GST framework, which is a highly valuable skill in the finance and accounting domain.
On 3rd April 2025, the training program continued with a session on Goods and Services Tax (GST), organized by the Lucknow Management Association in collaboration with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College. The session was conducted virtually on Google Meet by CA Sanam Rajneesh, who brought his deep understanding of taxation to the virtual classroom. The session began with an introduction to the historical background and evolution of GST in India. CA Sanam detailed the structure of GST, highlighting the three types of taxes—CGST, SGST, and IGST—and explained their application in inter-state and intra-state transactions. The process of GST registration, invoice generation, and return filing was also discussed. Through examples and case-based learning, students were able to comprehend the practical implementation of GST in businesses. The clarity with which the facilitator addressed common misconceptions and answered student queries made the session particularly beneficial. This training helped students appreciate the importance of GST in unifying the Indian tax system and enhancing transparency in commerce.

The session was facilitated by CA Sanam Rajneesh, a distinguished professional in the field of finance and taxation. The session was held offline, and it focused on the topic of Income Tax, aiming to provide participants with a strong foundation in understanding the Indian Income Tax system. CA Sanam explained the various tax slabs applicable to individuals and businesses, and elaborated on concepts such as exemptions, deductions, and tax planning strategies.Participants were also guided through the process of filing income tax returns and understanding Form 16. The session was interactive, and students actively engaged in discussions regarding real-life taxation scenarios. Overall, the training proved to be a valuable opportunity for learners to gain clarity on a subject that impacts every working individual.
